Mamonash Hair Studio

For this project, I worked as the Creative Director in collaboration with Mamonashair Studio on a photoshoot that aimed to celebrate the beauty, versatility, and cultural richness of Afro-braiding styles.

The shoot took place on Friday, January 31st in Mol and brought together a team of talented models, a hairstylist, photographer, and videographer. As Creative Director, I developed the concept, created the shot list, coordinated the styling, managed the timeline, and oversaw all communication to bring the vision to life.

We worked with white and brown backdrops, primarily using white to create a clean and minimalistic aesthetic that emphasized the braided hairstyles. Esmeralda, the founder of Mamonashair Studio, was also photographed. Both in powerful solo shots and in group compositions with the models, highlighting her presence as an entrepreneur and artist.

This shoot meant more than just creating visually appealing content. It was about representation, identity, and showcasing a hair tradition deeply rooted in heritage and culture. Being my first official project as a Creative Director, I am proud of what we achieved together as a team.
