MXT X RASTAMANI

This collaborative shoot brought together MXT Cultures, a platform dedicated to showcasing cultural innovation and creative expression, and RastAmani, a hair artistry brand specializing in natural locs and crown care. Together, they envisioned a project that celebrated authenticity, unity, and Black excellence through strong visuals and bold storytelling.

As the creative director and producer, I was responsible for conceptualizing the visual narrative, creating the mood boards, assembling the team (photographer, studio, etc), developing the shotlist and styling direction, and overseeing the flow of the entire shoot day. My goal was to translate the vision of both brands into powerful imagery that reflects community, style, and authenticity.

This project also marked the official launch of AkpéSociety, a creative studio rooted in gratitude and cultural storytelling. Through every frame, we honored our roots and made space for future possibilities.
